DISCIPLESHIP AND MENTORING FOR GOD’S KINGDOM MISSION
This workshop contrasts the limitations of earthly kingdoms with the power of God’s internal kingdom, and presents the spiritual warfare, challenges, and responsibilities that come when people commit to God’s kingdom. A difference version of this workshop can be expanded to include missional living and the benefits that discipleship and mentoring offer the church. These topics can be worked into a conference, summit, retreat or leadership training session.

With highlights for the mentoring relationship between Naomi and Ruth, women are encouraged to accept the responsibility of mentoring as presented in the book of Titus, chapter two. The message presents the generational blessings of mentoring, and what we miss when we refuse to take this responsibility seriously. (Natasha can cover these same principles for a diverse audience using the leadership development, mentoring and intergenerational relationship between Moses and Joshua.)

In Psalms 62:5-8, David invites our soul to find rest in God alone. Our hope comes from him. God is our rock, salvation, fortress, and refuge. Our honor depends on him. Therefore, we can trust him at all times. Pour out your heart to him. (Any one or several of these themes can be highlighted based on the specific needs of the targeted audience.)
AN INVITATION TO LAMENT
In Psalm 37 we see assurances of how God will deal with the wicked and the righteous. However, living in a fallen world can be hard, especially when it feels or looks like the enemy is winning. This retreat presents an opportunity for rest, reflection, prayer, engagement in spiritual practices, and healing for the weary and broken-hearted.
